Disciple Equip is a 10-week equipping process that will help you to grow as a disciple and will also give you practical tools which will enable you to disciple others.
This is a great entry point if you're new to Resurrection Church or would like specific training in this area. The equipping covers; our core values, helps you experience those values first-hand and establishes a plan for how to grow as a disciple and disciple-maker.
Discipleship Groups (DGs) are small gatherings of disciples that meet throughout the year. Each group is committed to living out our mission and vision by;
• Encouraging each other to live for Jesus.
• Loving and serving their neighbors.
• Becoming disciples who make disciples.
We want to provide a safe, secure and fun place for kids, ages 6-months to 10 years, to grow in their relationship with Jesus.
At Resurrection Church, we call our kids ministry R-Kids. The “R” stands for Resurrection, but it also brings in the idea that the children at Resurrection are OUR kids—they are part of our church family.
The mission of Resurrection Church is to make disciples, and that means R-Kids aims to come alongside parents as they disciple their kids—the next generation of our church.
R KIDS ON SUNDAYS
The safety and security of our kids is our top priority. The kids ministry is led by vetted and trained volunteers and protected by a friendly security team that oversees our kids ministry area.
When you visit, you'll find the Kids Ministry area through the Family Entrance, just below the main entry. Once inside, one of our Kids Ministry volunteers will be able to help get your kids checked in for their class at the Check-In kiosk. During service our volunteers are able to stay in touch with you via text message.
Our student ministry is an engaging, authentic and a fun group of students from ages 11 to 18 years old. We gather together each week to learn about Jesus and grow as disciples together.
We will be meeting at 6:30pm-8:30pm on Wednesday evenings to worship and hear the teaching of God's word.
January 16th - March 18th
April 15th - June 17th
June 24th - September 9th
September 16th - November 18th
We start with an ice breaker, followed by a time of teaching, small group breakouts, and we end with a fun activity. We also participate in outreach throughout the year and look for opportunities that enable students to invite their friends.
Our hope is that students would become and grow as disciples of Jesus. That they would live a life devoted to him and would share the hope of Jesus with others.
