Beginning All Saints' Sunday, we began a tradition of presenting baptismal banners to the newly baptized. The banners which are processed in at the beginning of the service were the idea of Diane Livingston, with the silk screening designed by Sally Hester, sewn by Ellen Newsom, and the carriers and stands constructed by John Beal. Pictured with their banners, parents and godparents are from left to right, June Elizabeth Glennery, Lenae Elise Watland, Magdalen Ruth Cook Dobson, Madelyn Sage Easterling, Claire Elizabeth Caprio, and Keith Connington Caprio. |
