Your Life

We believe all people have value, dignity, significance, and purpose. We want to help you discover the person God has called and created you to be in Christ Jesus. We don’t expect you to be perfect because we are not perfect. So, no matter who you are, who you were, or where you've been, we invite you to take the next step and join us for one of our gatherings.

Our Life Together

The church is not a building or an event; it’s a people who are loving, learning, and growing together in grace and truth. As a family, we gather in two different settings: big and small. Our larger gatherings happen on Sundays during our three services: 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 1:00 p.m. Our small gatherings, called community groups, happen throughout the week at various times and locations around the South Sound.

What To Expect

sERVICES

We have three Sunday gatherings 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 1:00 p.m. at our church building in the heart of Tacoma. All of our services have kids' ministry. We gather to have a unique encounter with the living God where we learn more about him and what it means to follow him. Each time we gather, we expect Jesus to move powerfully in our midst and change our lives.

At our services you can look forward to:

  • A warm welcome

  • Engaging music with a mix of modern and timeless songs

  • Passionate and practical Bible teaching

  • A fun and safe kids' ministry with gospel-centered teaching

Community Groups

Community groups are intentional gatherings that meet weekly in homes all across the South Puget Sound region. They are an extension of our larger gatherings and each is committed to the vision and mission of Resurrection Church.

The goal and purpose of our community groups is discipleship--growing and going deeper in our relationship with Jesus and learning how to live that out in daily life. Community groups are also characterized by loving one another as seen in Acts 2:42-47, stirring one another up in love, and practicing good works.
