Upcoming Parenting Seminar

We have the rare opportunity at Resurrection Church to host a Parenting Seminar January 20th and 21st featuring Dr. Tedd Tripp.  Dr. Tripp is known around the United States as one of the formost experts on Christian childrearing.  He is outstanding!

Also, I've talked to several people within our church leadership how Dr. Tripp has had a major influence in how they parent their kids.  In fact, take a look at this video of the conversation I had with Pastor Joel about his experience.

Please consider attending this event, it will be a very wise investment in the lives of your kids.  To register for the event.

November 11th - R Kids Updates

There are so many cool things happening with the relaunch of R-Kids! Last Saturday we had 22 people come in and transform three of the classrooms.  They painted, assembled new furniture, and fully equipped the classrooms.  It was awesome!  A huge "Thank You" to all that participated!  And a special "Thank You" to Betty DiMarco and Kimberly Hosteger!

Another sign that a revival is taking place in Kid's Ministry is that we have had a ton of people sign up to serve in R-Kids!  The Team is quickly getting everyone on board and trained and serving on Sunday. One new volunteer said, "It's amazing to see kids so excited about Jesus.  It's fun to be a part of it."  We still need 21 more people to join the team.  Come on!

Join the revival!  Get involved!  Build a legacy!

Here are some photos of the new rooms.  They're amazing and a great environment for learning about Jesus!

Updates for Kids Ministry at Resurrection Church

Your pastors and kids’ ministry leaders are excited to share with you these changes that will occur over the next several months, so here they are:

R-Kids has a new kid-friendly image with fun new colors, a fresh Pacific Northwest outdoor theme, and graphics that invite kids to the great adventure of a personal relationship with Jesus.

Classrooms will get new fun colors, new furniture, and new visual aids that are inspired by the new logo and will make our space more appealing to kids. But we haven’t forgotten about parents; the R-Kids check-in process will be improved, and there will even be a space where parents can mingle and get to know each other.

Of course, R-Kids will focus on kids, but we plan to make the target a little bigger. We want to help parents be disciple-makers of their kids. We want to equip parents to share the gospel with their kids, read the Bible with their kids, and teach their kids how to pray. Over the next several months, we are going to introduce things that we hope will encourage and support parents.
