Youth
Programs
The Episcopal Young Churchpeople (EYC) is a fellowship of junior and senior high school aged students who gather weekly for community, learning, discussion, sharing, projects and fun. Programs vary from week to week and will range from a serious discussion of moral and spiritual matters to overnight camping trips, Easter egg hunts or assisting with the Annual St. Francis Day Blessing of the Animals. Fun, fellowship and a shared meal are always part of our regular gatherings.
EYC, open to all youth in 7th-12th grades, meets on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. during the months of September to May. Regular gatherings are held in the Canterbury Lodge.
In 2007-08, EYC will be led by the following MSU Canterbury students:
Merry Barnes, EYC coordinator, merrizzle@yahoo.com
Becca Horton, EYC assistant, rsh63@msstate.edu
