Week 7 - Sent to Be Honest
» WEEK 7 - SENT TO BE HONEST
Coming up in just a few weeks we'll be entering the break time between sessions. Also referred to as an informal time. It would be best to start vision casting for that at your next gathering. Some things to brainstorm are; events and/ or service projects that will enable you to reach people in your city for Jesus. This is also an opportunity for you to invite others to help coordinate and organize these events.
I've included a couple questions in the debrief to help initiate that for you. You're also welcome to make up any weeks you missed. The break is scheduled to begin the week of March 28th and the next 10-week session will then start on April 28th. The break is a bit longer due to Easter landing late-April.
Lastly, there are two equip events I want to bring to your attention.
The first is the Women's Equip Brunch on March 16th. I highly encourage all of our women leaders to attend. There is a link below to find out more.
Second, is a reminder that the Marriage Equip Intensive is coming up. We still have space for a few more couples. It's normally a 10-week course so this is a unique option you don't want to miss. Click the link below for more info.
As always, feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. Love you all!
For God's glory,
- Pastor Tim
» BIBLE STUDY + DISCUSSION

Prayer - Allow time for the group to fill out a prayer card. Then invite someone to pray for your time together.
Debrief - This is a way to check in on how people doing at applying the things they are learning in your group.
Has anyone had an opportunity to have a spiritual conversation with someone recently? If so, how did it go?
Does anyone know of an individual or family in the area that you can serve as a group? Is there anyone in the group that needs help?
(approx. time: 45 minutes)
Bible - Have the group read Acts 4:32-5:11 quietly. Then have 1-2 people read it out loud for the group. Doing so invites each person to read God’s Word themselves and can help to create a culture where each person is guided and informed by God’s truth.
Summary - Consider providing a brief summary that recaps the passage, sermon, and transitions to the questions below.
Discussion Questions -These are intended to help initiate discussion and provide a way for you to pursue each person's heart.
How did the story of Annais and Sapphira challenge you this week?
In what ways were you encouraged to examine your own heart and what was the outcome?
Is the confession of sin to God and others something you do regularly? If not, why not? What does God want for you?
(approx. time: 5 minutes)
Vision Cast - To close your time together, recap the main ideas and commend those that participated. Encourage your group to be in prayer for one another and to ask God to give them opportunities to live out confession and repentance this week.
