Shepherding a Child Toward Jesus

Last month we had 45 families join us at our Parent Training Day with Deborah Rowe from Child Evangelism Fellowship. Deborah and her team are passionate about helping children understand the message of salvation. This was evident in the many practical techniques of breaking down the gospel to children of all ages.

But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God...
— John 1:12

At the training we spent most of our time in the scriptures, and learning some simple steps to teaching R-Kids about the message of the gospel with The Wordless Book. We hope that those that attended went home with confidence to have conversations of salvation with your own kids or with the children in your life who you are discipling.

Parent Training Video

Deborah allowed us to video record the training to share with all of our families at Resurrection Church. If you were not able to join us for the training we wanted to share this content with you so that you can better shepherd your children towards Jesus too. This training content is now available!

Testimonials

I loved hearing testimonies from parents applying the tools learned from this training at home with their kids. I was so encouraged to hear that most testimonies of parents using these tools at home happened the same afternoon and weekend of the training! It was like parents couldn’t wait to put to use all the good information that filled their heads. The stories motivated me to grab the wordless book, my notes and start conversations with my own kids.

Do you have an encouraging story of how you used these training tools to share? We would love to hear about it! We would love to use your story to encourage each other to confidently guide our children toward Jesus.

Please use comment link at top of this post with your story!
